[Japan] Ajinomoto Scholarship for ASEAN International Students 2011

Ajinomoto Scholarship enables students from five ASEAN countries (Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Vietnam) wishing to enroll in a master's course (major in one of the sciences) at the University of Tokyo, to secure scholarships before their arrival in Japan. It aims to cultivate individuals capable of leading Asia in the twenty-first century and to contribute to the development of Asia and the world as well as to mutual understanding between these countries and Japan.

Twelve scholarships are available to UK and EU students who have been accepted at the University of Edinburgh on a full-time Master's degree programme in any subject offered by the University. The scholarships will cover the UK/EU tuition fees up to £5,100 which will be deducted from the tuition fee and will be tenable for one academic year.

The Graduate School of the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Copenhagen is inviting applications for one PhD fellowship starting September 1, 2010 for a period of up to three years on Nominal Word Formation in Germanic. The research project is expected to contain a thorough historical and comparative treatment of nominal word formation in one or more languages of the Germanic language family.

Ford Foundation International Fellowships Program for East Africa
